Salman Khan drafts diet plan for Sumeet Samnani

Television actor Sumeet Samnani, who plays Sanjay Deol in Kalash Ek Vishwaas, will be seen playing a significant role in the Salman Khan-starrer Sultan. The 25-year-old actor who weighs 145 kgs managed to grab Salman’s attention while filming for the movie.

It so happened that director Ali Abbar Zafar called Sumeet to rehearse a scene on the sets of the film. Incidentally, Salman Khan was having breakfast on the sets when he asked Sumeet to join him. What followed next was a long conversation between the two actors. A concerned Salman enquired about his diet and made a yearly diet chart for the actor. Salman insisted that he wants to see Sumeet fitter than the actor himself when they meet the next time.

When we contacted Sumeet, he said, “I was stunned when Salman bhai outlined a complete diet plan for me. I was very nervous since it was only on the sets of Sultan that I met him for the first time. The man is humble to the core. A star like him shouldn’t have bothered with making a diet plan for me. I’m following the diet bhai has made for me with utmost dedication. In fact, I will make it a point to show him the progress I have made.”
