For his big release Sultan, it looks like superstar Salman Khan is all set to give his fans a lot more than what they expected. After he kicked up a controversy by removing Arijit Singh’s version of a song from the film, the actor is now apparently keen on recording all the songs in the film’s album. The film’s music first made news after Arijit Singh’s public apology on Facebook to Salman and the apparent decision by the makers to rope in Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to replace him. However, it came as a surprise to many when they found out that the voice crooning the song was of neither of the singers, but rather that of Salman himself.

A source revealed, “Salman had made no plans to record any song that the composers made for the film. It was a last minute idea. It’s just his mood—one day he felt like recording the song Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai and he did it. In fact, he even changed the song’s lyrics from the original ‘Baby Nu’ to ‘Baby Ko’ to make it his own take on the song, which has been received well. For the next song, Jag Ghumiya, he recorded his own version and also posted it on his social media accounts. And if that wasn’t enough, he has now even sung his version of the song 440 Volt.”

For his earlier movies such as Kick and Hero (his banner’s production) he had sung just one song. But for Sultan, we hear that he may go ahead with recording the other songs from the album in his voice as well.

A source revealed, “The entire album is out, but there are three more video songs that are yet to be released. Salman was heard discussing the possibility of singing those as well. Singing the earlier songs was not planned and was impromptu. In between his schedule, he wants to spare more time to sing the other songs as well.”

The album is composed by the composer duo, Vishal-Shekhar and will mark their return to the YRF banner after a long time.
