Shah Rukh and Salman’s fan clubs were at loggerheads again on Tuesday, battling bitterly on Twitter after Shah Rukh and his Dilwale team donated Rs 1 crore to the Chennai relief funds.

Salman’s fans dubbed it a publicity stunt for Dilwale to which SRK fans retaliated by scoffing at Salman’s Being Human charity. And so it continued until a few days ago when Shah Rukh and Salman met for the shoot of a television reality show. That’s when they decided that there would be zero tolerance from both superstars over malice towards the rival star.

Says a source close to the development,“Both Shah Rukh and Salman feel very strongly about their respective fan clubs going at each other’s throats. They’ve now taken a vow to disown all fans who abuse rival actors. They don’t find such negative adulation cool at all.”

The last time two rival superstars took a similar vow to tame their overzealous fan clubs was when Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan said no to negative fan frenzy.
