Talented and upcoming singer Siddharth Mahadevan, who won his first Filmfare award last year for his song Zinda, has lent his voice for the theme song of action/mythology show Nagarjun-Ek Yoddha. The theme song for the show, which revolves around a young boy named Arjun, who gets caught up in a mythological mystery, brings out the crux of the show’s storyline.
Commenting on his experience, Siddharth says, “I knew I had to be a part of the song the minute Jeet Da (composer Jeet Ganguly) told me about the story. It was an amazing experience to sing the theme song. The protagonist of the show, Arjun is a lot like me. He is a normal boy in his early 20’s, who is happy with his ordinary life. Suddenly he is forced to become someone else. I found the story very interesting and thought that the best way to express the emotions attached to it is through a song. That’s why I agreed to sing for the character.”
About the song he adds, “The song is a fast-paced number that talks about his life and emotions. The lyrics are powerful and give a sense of empowerment. I’m sure the listeners will feel the same.”
