SRK’s Sultan cameo turns out to be a ruse

However, dreams of seeing SRK-Salman together on screen may come true if Sajid Nadiadwala’s efforts to do so for his next directorial venture succeed.

Last week, the papers were filled with excited reports on Shah Rukh Khan making a cameo appearance in Salman Khan’s Sultan. However, the news hardly has any truth to it, according to sources.

Says a source close to Sultan, “Shah Rukh Khan is not making an appearance in the movie. Why should he Do you think it would make sense to waste such an opportunity to bring them together ”

The source also brushes off any possibility of Shah Rukh promoting Sultan.

Says the source, “There was talk that not only would Salman and Shah Rukh come together for Eid with Sultan and Raees, they would also be promoting each other’s films. This isn't true at all. It’s evident from the fact that Salman has not promoted Shah Rukh’s film Fan in any way. Though the trailer of Salman’s Sultan is attached to Shah Rukh’s Fan there is unlikely to be any more mutual promotion between the two stars.”

As far as Shah Rukh and Salman coming together is concerned, apparently prolific producer-turned-director Sajid Nadiadwala is planning to cast them together in his second directorial film.

“But Shah Rukh’s cameo in Salman’s Sultan No way!” says the source.
