In a Salman Khan film, as has been the pattern so far, the trailer always revolves around the superstar alone. The clip chooses to focus on the actor, his dialogues, his moves, his punches — the whole package of the bhai brand of entertainment. However, all that is set to change with Khan’s next, Sultan, where he plays a wrestler from Haryana. The trailer of Sultan, we hear from reliable sources, will see the movie’s supporting cast comprising Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh get their spot under the sun.
Sultan’s director Ali Abbas Zafar has put together an interesting trailer for the upcoming movie, and will be releasing it this evening. The clip has already been through a series of edits and changes, as is the norm with every big movie.
Amit plays Salman’s younger brother in the film, while Randeep essays the role of Salman’s coach. A source revealed, “Both Amit and Randeep have important roles in the film and Ali wanted to highlight them in the trailer itself. Of course, there is going to be lot of focus on Salman, projecting him as the hero. But the other characters, who have important roles, will also be featured. Ali wanted to give them space in the trailer and it has worked out quite well.”
The three-minute trailer will aim to showcase Salman’s wrestling moves, that became quite a talking point after the release of Sultan’s teaser, as well as the film’s leading lady Anushka Sharma, who plays his love interest, Aarfa. The trailer will also look at highlighting Salman’s well-tutored Haryanvi accent, which he developed for his role.
