Sussanne breaks silence, defends Hrithik

Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut’s public wrangle refuses to die down. Given how the episode is unfolding, Kangana is becoming increasingly isolated in her battle, it seems. The latest to have gone against Kangana is Hrithik’s former wife Sussanne, alleging that the photograph showing her husband socialising with Kangana does not tell the truth.

Recently, a picture of Hrithik and Kangana cosying up at a party made its way to the Internet. It is supposed to have been clicked at Krrish 3’s party — an event where the Sussanne herself was present along with Hrithik, Kangana and few of the their friends such as Dino Morea and Arjun Rampal. The picture is believed to have been ‘leaked’ by Kangana’s team, to establish her ‘relationship’ with Hrithik — a claim the latter has denied all along.

Sussanne, who had maintained a stoic silence on the entire episode thus far, lashed out at Kangana’s team on social media accusing her of fabricating the picture. “Pictures are photoshopped and untrue stories carry too much weight. I support Hrithik in this,” she tweeted. She also shared a picture of her hugging Hrithik at the same party. (see pic on top right).

When contacted, Sussanne said, “When I saw the picture that Kangana’s people had put out claiming to be a ‘couple picture’ in a Mumbai newspaper supplement, I instantly realised it was photoshopped. I was dismayed by how much they are probably trying to make up stories to strengthen their case. Since I was there at the gathering that night where that picture was taken, it was important for me to tell it like it was.”

It now comes to light that Sussanne’s entire family — her parents Sanjay and Zarine Khan, her brother Zayed and her sisters — are all in support of Hrithik in his hour of crisis.

Says a source close to the Khan family, “Even after Hrithik’s separation from his wife, he has remained close to her family. Sanjay and Zarine treat Hrithik like a son and are deeply concerned about the current crisis.”
