Mumbai
: Alia Bhatt is just 23-year-old, but is already so good with her craft, that even Shah Rukh Khan believes she's becomes 'too good too soon'.
The actress, who shocked the industry with her achingly credible performance in Imtiaz Ali's 'Highway', which incidentally was just her second film, came back to shock them even further to perform her phenomenally act in 'Udta Punjab', a role that was diametrically detached from her own actual reality.
But fans who were craving to see her in a lighter breezier role, closer home, were delighted when the teasers and snippets from Gauri Shinde's 'Dear Zindagi,' started coming out.
But as simple as the role might seem to laymen eyes, the actress has not shed an iota of her professionalism and approached the role like she'd, with any other.
Alia, who plays a Director of Photography in the film, can be seen strutting around sets with ginormous cameras atop her shoulders and constantly taking tips from the film's own D.o.P, to perfect her act.
Even in her scenes with Shah Rukh Khan, she has a DSLR handy.
With all the breezy, positive energy, we can't wait to watch this film, which has music aptly composed by Amit Trivedi.
The film, also stars an ensemble of male actors including Aditya Roy Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor and Angad Bedi.
Reportedly, Pakistani actor Ali Zafar has been replaced by Tahir Raj Bhasin in the film.
The film is slated for a November 25 release.
