Maruti introduces Celerio Limited Edition

Special edition cars in India generally come with some additional stickers, accessories and a lot of chrome. Maruti has also followed the same recipe and introduced the Celerio Limited Edition. The Celerio Limited Edition features lots of chrome and graphics on exteriors, while the interiors get beige accessories. As there are no mechanical changes, the accessories can be had with any variant of the Celerio. The cost of individual accessories amounts to Rs 19,989. However, Maruti is offering them all at Rs 11,990.
On the outside, the Limited Edition Celerio wears chrome garnishes on the tail lamps, boot gate, headlight cluster, fog lamps and window line. Also, you get side body graphics, rear parking sensors, a set of door visors and door moulding to set your car apart from the rest of the accessorised Celerios.
Inside, the seats are dressed in new beige seat covers and the steering wheel gets a beige cover as well. You also get ambient light in the footwells and a cylindrical tissue box. How convenient!
In terms of the mechanicals, the diesel engine of the Celerio was discontinued some time back and it is now only available with a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine. This mill churns out 68PS of power and 90Nm of torque. Mated to this engine is a 5-speed manual or an Auto Gear Shift transmission. The petrol engine has a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.02kmpl. There is a CNG option as well which returns 31.79km/kg of mileage.
Post GST, the prices of the Maruti Celerio have gone down by a thousand bucks in Delhi and the range now starts from
