VW launches Polo, Ameo and Vento Crest editions

All three cars are available at monthly EMIs of Rs 10,999, Rs 14,999 and Rs 11,999, respectively.

The German automaker Volkswagen is popular for introducing special/limited editions of its cars. The special-edition Vento and the Polo ALLSTAR was launched earlier this year and now Volkswagen has introduced limited ‘Crest’ editions of the VW Polo, Vento and Ameo. All three cars are available at monthly EMIs of Rs 10,999, Rs 14,999 and Rs 11,999, respectively. Let's see what the ‘Crest’ editions has to offer.

On the outside, all three cars will feature:

The ‘Wolfsburg crest’ on their C-pillars

Matte black roof

Gloss black side foil

The Polo gets a gloss black tailgate along with a gloss black roof-mounted spoiler

The Vento gets a boot-mounted spoiler

Speaking about the interiors, all three models will be equipped with features such as :

Exclusive textile mats

Door sill

Front centre armrest

Leather seat covers with the Wolfsburg crest embossed on them, along with diamond quilted stitching

Detachable sun blinds

Mechanically, the Polo and Ameo are available with the 1.2-litre MPi and the 1.5-litre TDI engines. The motor is coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox and seven-speed DSG (Ameo diesel only). On the other hand, the petrol version of the Vento is available with a 1.6-litre MPi and a 1.2-litre TSI, and are mated to a five-speed manual, seven-speed dual-clutch auto, respectively. The oil burner version is the 1.5-litre TDI which comes mated to a seven-speed DSG.
