Ducati Diavel 1260 S to cost Rs 19.25 L
The new models will replace the ongoing Diavel - one of Ducati India's most popular motorcycles.
New Delhi: Ducati India has launched the 2019 Diavel 1260 and Diavel 1260 S in India at Rs 17.70 lakh and Rs 19.25 lakh, respectively. The new models will replace the ongoing Diavel - one of Ducati India's most popular motorcycles. The standard variant will be available in Sandstone Grey while the S variant will come in a Total Black paint scheme.
Sergi Canovas, Managing Director of Ducati India said, "When the Diavel was launched, it created a new category altogether. It became a motorcycle responsible for giving a new definition to power cruisers and created a cult following amongst young motorcycle enthusiasts for its devilish looks and superbike level performance. The new Diavel 1260 is a step above its predecessor, promising the personalities of a naked roadster and a power cruiser, making it a 'Mega Monster'. The Diavel has been one of most loved power cruisers in India and was one of our most popular models and we are confident that the new Diavel 1260 will be loved and celebrated by the rider community."
The new 2019 Ducati Diavel 1260 received a lot of changes as compared to its predecessor, including a bigger and more technologically advanced Testastretta DVT 1262 engine, which puts out 157 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 129 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. The new engine gets Desmodromic Valve Timing, which is essentially variable valve timing that offers a wide range of torque across the rev range, offering pulling power at varying engine revs. The Ducati Diavel will have LED daytime running light, LED turn indicators, Ohlins suspension and top-spec Brembo M50 monobloc brake calipers.
While the 1260 S gets a bi-directional quick-shifter as standard, as well as the Ducati Multimedia system and Ducati Link App, allowing riders to hook their smartphones to log ride data.
