Limited edition Maruti Suzuki Ertiga launched at Rs 7.85 Lakh
The car is being offered in the mid-spec V variant with both petrol and diesel engine options.
Maruti Suzuki India has launched a limited edition model of its popular MPV, the Ertiga. It is being offered in the mid-spec V variant with both petrol and diesel engine options. The prices start at Rs 7.85 lakh and goes up to Rs 8.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it almost Rs 30000 more expensive than the standard V variant. It is available in three colour options: Exquisite Maroon, Silky Silver and Superior White.
The Limited Edition adds a few cosmetic touches to liven things up a bit. Other than the new body colour, it also features a bit of chrome garnishing around the fog lamp bezel, and on the body moulding on the sides. The interiors now get a ‘wooden finish’ styling kit, a two-tone steering cover and a front armrest. Maruti has also added white ambient lighting, new seat covers and cushion pillows to the mix.
R. S. Kalsi, executive director (marketing & sales), MSIL, said, “Ertiga is a complete MPV package which offers space, versatility, technology and convenience. The all-new features of Ertiga Limited Edition highlight the company’s focus on building a customer connect through product differentiation while creating delight. Customers have always loved the Ertiga for its elegant style, contemporary looks and flexibility. This Limited Edition will further strengthen brand Ertiga.”
Other than the accessory package, there’s no change in the good old Ertiga, that has sold over 3 lakh units since its launch in 2012. It gets the choice of two engine options - the 92PS/130Nm 1.4-litre K-Series (petrol) and the 90PS/200Nm 1.3-litre DDiS200 (diesel). The Ertiga has been a part of our long term test fleet for a while now; check out our report to know what it is like to live with the Ertiga.
