Bookings have already begun for a token amount of Rs 1,100.

Avan Motors has launched its third electric scooter in India, the Trend E, priced at Rs 56,900 (ex-showroom Delhi). It is available in two variants - the standard model and a top-end variant, which has a price tag of Rs 81,269 (ex-showroom Delhi). The other two electric scooters sold by Avan Motors in India are the Xero and Xero+.

The e-scooter is available in two dual tone paint options - black/red and white/blue. Both variants feature the same 16-inch alloy wheels and brake setup - disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear - as its stablemate, the Xero. Even the telescopic forks at the front and coil spring shock absorber at the rear are the same as seen on the Xero.

Both variants are almost identical, but what differs between them is the battery setup. Where the standard variant has a single-battery setup, the top-of-the-line variant features a double battery setup. While the standard model has a claimed range of 45km, the double-battery setup will go up to 110km. The company claims that the e-scooter has a top speed of 45kmph and the lithium-ion batteries take around 2-4 hours to charge.

Avan has already started accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs 1,100. The manufacturer added that customers who have booked their Trend E before March 31 will get their scooters delivered before March 31.
