Airtel Payments Bank customers can now make secure payments

These cashless payments can be made via smartphones (MyAirtel App) as well as feature phones.

Hyderabad: Airtel Payments Bank on Monday said its customers can now make secure and convenient digital payments for fuel purchase at 1,500 HPCL fuel stations across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

According to statement issued by the bank, the announcement was made during the inauguration of HPCL fuel station as banking point in the Manikonda HPCL fuel station here.

These cashless payments can be made via smartphones (MyAirtel App) as well as feature phones (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) and no transaction fee is charged for these digital payments from customers, it further said.

All Airtel Payments Bank customers would also be able to access a range of convenient banking services at these fuel stations such as opening new accounts, make cash deposits and withdrawals facility, and transfer money.

This will add to the depth and reach of Airtel Payments BankÂ's retail based network that leverages over 40,000 Airtel retail outlets as banking points in the state, it added.
