Bharti Airtel appoints Pankaj Tiwari as company secretary

Tiwari is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a graduate in law with around 16 years of professional experience.

The company is sending out mails in batches to inform all its postpaid customers about the offers.

New Delhi: Telecom major Bharti Airtel today said it has appointed Pankaj Tiwari as its company secretary.

"The Board, in its meeting held on July 18, 2017, has appointed Pankaj Tiwari as the company secretary and key managerial personnel of the company with effect from July 18, 2017," it said in a regulatory filing.

Tiwari is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a graduate in law with around 16 years of professional experience, it added.

Before joining Bharti Airtel, he had a 12 year stint with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he worked extensively in the corporate governance and compliance space.
