RBI signs pact with Czech National Bank

With this, RBI has signed 40 such MoUs, two LoCs and one statement of cooperation with several countries.

The Reserve Bank also said monthly withdrawal limit of Rs 10,000 will be maintained even if a 'small account' has witnessed increase in annual permissible deposit of Rs 1 lakh.

Mumbai: The Reserve Bank today said it has inked an information exchange agreement with the Czech National Bank.

The Reserve Bank (RBI) said it has executed the Letter of Cooperation (LoC) on 'Supervisory Cooperation and Exchange of Supervisory Information' with the Czech National Bank. The LoC was exchanged between Vladimir Tomsik, Vice Governor on behalf of Czech National Bank and S S Mundra, Deputy Governor, RBI.

RBI has established memoranda of understanding (MoUs), LoCs and statement of cooperation with many countries to promote greater cooperation and share supervisory information. With this, RBI has signed 40 such MoUs, two LoCs and one statement of cooperation.
