New Delhi: PNB MD and CEO Sunil Mehta said on Friday that it will take it six months for the bank to come back to normalcy and the board is working on a strategy to exit non-core assets.

The bank is also considering to expedite sale of some of its fixed assets, including few office buildings not in use presently, for about '500 crore by March-end, sources said.
“We will get back to normalcy within six months. Bank has the size and capacity to come out of the problem,” he said.
He said this was a stand alone case reported from one branch and has scanned other branches also for the problem.
