Sensex up over 111 points at 28,441 in early trade

Broader Nifty also opened in green with a 40.75 points or 0.46 per cent surge at 8,819.15.

The BSE banking index was down 1.91 per cent to 26,672.93, while the realty index was quoting lower by 1.34 per cent to 1,262.29.

Mumbai: Sensex continued its rally on Friday with 30-share index surging over 111 points in early morning trade. The BSE’s benchmark index climbed up 0.39 per cent to 28,441 in its opening session.

Broader Nifty also opened in the green with a 40.75 points or 0.46 per cent surge at 8,819.15 level in initial trading .

Banking stocks also retained their yesterday's opening strength with the Bank Nifty seeing over 110 points upward movement to 20,261 level. It gained 0.55 per cent in the early trade.
