Members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) took to streets on Thursday in the national capital against the failure of the AAP government to implementation the Room Rent Control Act. The students were seen shouting slogans as they marched from the Vishwavidyalaya Metro station to the chief minister’s residence, but were eventually detained by the police who was deployed on the spot.

The protest rally started at around 12 noon where over 1,500 ABVP students, in association with Delhi University Students’s Union (Dusu) members, were seen leading the march.

The protest lasted for more than a hour and was stopped near Indraprastha College.
