BJP protest against Rakhi Bidlan father

Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay along with a large number of Mahila Morcha workers held a demonstration at the Mangolpuri residence of deputy assembly speaker Rakhi Bidlan to protest against the gangrape of a woman worker allegedly by her father and an AAP activist.

Addressing the demonstrators Mr Upadhyay alleged that exploitation of women by the AAP leaders has crossed all limits. “We are witnessing cases of sexual exploitation of women again and again. It is quite surprising that Arvind Kejriwal who used to talk about respect of women and morality is not taking any action against the leaders of his party who are committing crime against women,” said Mr Upadhyay.

Mr Upadhyay also said that BJP demands that Mr Kejriwal should dismiss AAP leaders Ashutosh and Kumar Vishwas, MLA Sandeep Kumar, Sharad Chauhan, Rajesh Rishi, Somnath Bharti, Manoj Kumar and two accused persons of the present case Ram Pratap Goel and Bhupender, father of Mangolpuri MLA Ms Bidlan.

The demonstration caused traffic jam in Mangolpuri area and the local police had to use force to remove the demonstrators and arrested about 700 workers including Mr Satish Upadhyay.

Delhi BJP Mahila Morcha president Kamaljeet Sehrawat said that now onwards, BJP’s women workers will continuously agitate against the AAP leaders.
