Delhi University students under the School of Open Learning (SOL) held a protest demonstration on Sunday against the stopping of classes, incomplete course, outdated and inadequate course material, and late result in Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College.

The protest took place under the banner Krantik-ari Yuva Sangathan, where the students criticised the ad-hoc disarrangement of the SOL administration and demanded the resumption of classes until the course was completed.

They also demanded that the administration should immediately make provisions for the course material covering the whole syllabus and that the result for the upcoming examinations should be declared on time so that their year is not wasted.

Recently, the SOL students had alleged that their exams were due next month, but the course was yet to be completed.

Moreover, the classes are about to end and the SOL authorities have not ensured if the students are fully prepared to take the exam.
