Ingredients
Half kg pork loin (cut into cubes) 1 cup vinegar 2 pieces long green chillies 1 tbsp sugar 2 medium-sized finely chopped onions 1 tbsp minced garlic 1 tbsp cooking oil 1 tbsp fish sauce 1 cup water
Method
Sauté the garlic and onion in a pan. Add the pork and sauté for a few minutes. Add fish sauce, let it simmer for a minute, then add a cup or two of water. Simmer until the water is almost gone, to tenderise the meat. Let this simmer for 10 minutes and then add vinegar. Simmer for another 15 minutes. Put the sugar and let it mix, followed by some long green pepper slivers and simmer for two minutes. Serve hot with rice, dosa or idlis.
