If you or one of yours is getting married in the coming weeks, then chances are that you’ve got a few important things running on your mind. First on that list is the need to lose weight and look great on the big day. Here are a few dishes for losing weight and looking your awesome best.

Green Omelette Ingredients 2 eggs 1 bunch spinach, chopped 1 onion chopped 2 tsp oil A pinch red chilli powder Salt to taste

Method Heat oil in a pan and fry onions till they are light brown. Add spinach and fry. Beat eggs with salt and chilli powder in a bowl. Now pour the egg in the pan. Turn omelette when done. Serve hot with fresh cucumber salad and a cup of pure orange juice for breakfast. Low calorie, high protein, quality carbs, fiber, beauty minerals and vitamins.

Quinoa green peas pulav Ingredients cup quinoa cup rice cup green peas 3 cloves 1 piece cinnamon 3 cardamom tsp black pepper 1 tsp ginger garlic paste tsp ghee 1 onion, chopped 3 green chillies, finely chopped 1 cup curd 2 cups water Salt to taste

Method Wash rice and quinoa and keep it aside in water. Heat ghee in a pan and add cardamom, black pepper, clove and cinnamon, onion, ginger-garlic paste and green chillies. Now add green peas and fry for little while. Strain soaked rice and quinoa and add to pan. Add curd and water, add salt to taste and let it cook till done. Serve one cup for lunch along with pure pomegranate juice. Just enough calories, great in weight loss fiber, beauty vitamins and minerals.

Craving Spicy Nuts Ingredients 10 cashew tsp ginger, crushed A pinch of cardamom powder 1 piece cinnamon, crushed tsp corriander powder tsp black pepper powder Few drops olive oil for frying Salt to taste

Method Roast almonds and cashew separately and keep aside. Now add few drops of olive oil in a pan, add crushed ginger followed by cardomom, cinnamon, corriander powder, black pepper powder and salt. Add roasted nuts. Remove from heat and serve. Round off these two katoirs with a cup of pure black grape juice.
