No permit needed for Parmanu: Prerna Arora
The film will be shot on location in places like Delhi, Jaisalmer and Pokhran.
John Abraham’s upcoming film Parmanu — The Story of Pokhran has indeed caught everyone’s attention. While our source says the makers have been asked to take permission from the government to make this much-awaited film, the producer of the movie has denied these reports.
Based on the series of underground nuclear tests carried out by the Indian government in Pokhran, the film is directed by Abhishek Sharma and also features Diana Penty and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
“No, we are not taking any permissions from the government to make this film. The subject of Pokhran is in the public domain so anyone can make a movie out of this. Also, all the characters in our story are fictional. Only the event is real,” says producer Prerna Arora of KriArj Entertainment.
The film will be shot on location in places like Delhi, Jaisalmer and Pokhran.
