Aamir takes a break from shooting Thugs of Hindostan, to promote Secret Superstar

Mumbai: Aamir Khan is called the ultimate perfectionist for a reason.
The actor, who's been busy working on his period action thriller 'Thugs of Hindostan,' has now put the mega-budget film on hold, to promote his upcoming production, 'Secret Superstar'.
The film, which also has the actor playing a quirky extended cameo, has his former associate Advait Chandan making his directorial debut.
Starring Zaira Wasim, Aamir's on-screen daughter from 'Dangal,' the film is the tale of young Muslim girl, who aspires to be a singer, but is pulled down by her conservative father.
Aamir took to Twitter to announce his decision to completely invest himself into the film's promotions.

'Thugs of Hindostan,' helmed by Victor Acharya, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fathima Sana Sheikh in the lead roles. The film is slated for a Dilwai, 2018 release.
