Ranveer Singh exits, Shahid Kapoor enters

It’s time for Shahid Kapoor to enter the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. Ranveer Singh has become busy with promotions for Befikre, and taking his place on set is Shahid and Deepika Padukone.

Says a source, “There is no room for romance or singing for Ranveer’s character. This would be his most menacing character to date, and is in sharp contrast to Shahid’s gently poetic Rajasthani warrior’s character.”

Once Ranveer resumes shooting for Padmavati post the promotion schedules, he intends to  draw himself into a shell. “He plays a surly smouldering ball of flame, an arrogant and unstoppable warrior who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Ranveer, who by nature is gregarious, intends to seclude himself for feel his character’s egoistic personality,” say the source.
