No films, only brands for Vidya Balan
Obviously, after getting success on hand, Vidya has learned her vidya and would want to replicate the result for her next film too.
We hear that post the impact Tumhari Sulu created at the box office; hamari Sulu has gone rather selective and has not signed any film but various endorsements.
While the actress has clearly agreed to work on the Indira Gandhi biopic based on Sagarika Ghose’s book Indira: India’s Most Powerful Prime Minister, she has not taken on any film project.
“Vidya has signed on around a dozen brands that want her as their face because they needed a socially responsible face that would also appeal to young women as well as housewives. But when it comes to films she is rather choosy. Tumhari Sulu was her next hit after Kahaani that was released in 2012,” says a source.
After Kahaani, Vidya had guest roles in Ferrari Ki Sawari and Ekk Albela apart from flops like Ghanchakkar, Shaadi Ke Side Effects, Bobby Jasoos, Hamari Adhuri Kahaani, TE3N, Kahaani 2 and Begum Jaan. Obviously, after getting success on hand, Vidya has learned her vidya and would want to replicate the result for her next film too.
