Zareen Khan gets trolled for pic showing stretch marks

Veer actress Zareen Khan recently shared a picture of herself standing beside Lake Pichola in Rajasthan wearing a crop top that exposed her belly. The photo attracted a lot of attention, not because Zareen showed her belly but because it showed her stretch marks, which led to her being trolled ruthlessly.

However, it looked like Zareen herself had a comeback ready for the trolls. “For people who are very curious to know about what’s wrong with my stomach, this is the natural stomach of a person who has lost 50 kgs of weight, this is how it looks when it is not photoshopped or surgically corrected,” Zareen explained on Instagram. “I’ve always been someone who believes in being real and embraced my imperfections with pride rather than covering it up,” she added.

Zareen’s honest answer not  only stunned her detractors and body-shamers, but also got her support from unexpected quarters. In an Instagram story, Anushka Sharma wrote, “Zareen, you are beautiful and brave and strong and perfect just the way you are. #Appreciationpost #lookbeyondthebody @zareenkhan.”
