Ranbir Kapoor gets an earful

The makers of the film on Sanjay Dutt — director-producer Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra — have been guarded about their biopic.

Perceptibly, they have also shied away from talking much about the film keeping the details close to their chest. So, they have been understandably upset when photographs Ranbir from the sets of the film were leaked. When recently Ranbir Kapoor, who is away in Israel filming Karan Johar’s next film Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt, shared some inside pictures and video of the film, the outspoken Vidhu Vinod was not amused.

“Vinod gave Ranbir an earful and asked him not to share anything. The makers have not even shared the final name of the film, even as the media continues to think of names from Sanju to Dutt to Baba. They do not want any details to be put out as not more than four to five people have actually seen what is in the film so far,” says a source.
