Really happy for Fatima: Sanya Malhotra
The actress is also happy for her Dangal co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh who will be seen in Thugs Of Hindostan.
Although she is only two-films-old, Pataakha actress Sanya Malhotra seems to have touched on a learning curve as she explains that surviving in Bollywood requires immense patience. Sanya says, “Post Dangal, I realised that patience is very important. So I am not in any rush to become anyone. I am just glad that I am an actor right now because I really wanted to be one. I am taking things positively.”
Meanwhile, the actress is also happy for her Dangal co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh who will be seen in Thugs Of Hindostan. “I am really happy for her and am dying to see that film. I have seen a few videos that she showed me and it turned out so well. I am so happy because we started our journey together and she is doing well. My whole Dangal team is like a family to me. They are all special people,” she adds.
The actress however still doesn’t consider herself a star and feels that people still don’t recognise her. She says, “Nobody knows me yet. I had small hair in Dangal and now I have grown my hair and have a new look. People say ‘you look like the Dangal girl’. But I want people to know me.” Though she is happy to have a sizable fan following, she doesn’t believe in being seen everywhere. “Besides I hardly go anywhere so I don’t have any pressure to look good. I go to a small gym in one corner where no one clicks me so I lead a simple life without any pressure.”
