Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to reunite for Sanjay Leela Bhansali film?
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is planning to cast the Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in his next mega project.
Mumbai: Bollywood's two biggest superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan delighted their fans and industry folks when they buried their hatchet and turned into the best of buddies. Since then we have seen the two promoting each other’s films and chilling with each other at many occasions. While SRK did a cameo in Salman's ‘Tubelight’, Salman graciously shot for a special appearance in SRK's next release ‘Zero’. It would be a truly dreamy affair for all the Bollywood fans if the two superstars come together for a film. If report in Mid-Day is to be believed, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is riding on the success of his last release 'Padmaavat', is planning to cast the Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in his next mega project.
A source close to the development told the tabloid, “Salman and Shah Rukh will be reuniting on screen for a two-hero film that will be directed by Bhansali. A family drama about friend-turned-foes, the film will be along the lines of the Dilip Kumar-Raj Kumar starrer Saudagar (1991) and will see them share equal footage. The superstars have always been keen on doing a movie together and Bhansali's film seemed to be the perfect opportunity. They have agreed to it in principle, but Bhansali might take as long as nine months to complete the final draft. If everything goes according to plan, the project may roll mid-next year.”
Salman and Shah Rukh have previously shared screen space in Karan Arjun (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam (2002). The blockbuster jodi has been lauded by cinegoers so it is going to be a huge success for SLB if he pull off this casting coup. The source further added, “Bhansali hasn't started casting yet. He will approach stars only after he finalises his script."

Shah Rukh celebrated his 53rd birthday yesterday (November 2) and to mark the occasion the superstar unveiled the trailer of his upcoming film 'Zero'. Interestingly, Salman Khan is going an extra mile to promote SRK's film. The Bhaijaan will also been seen in a cameo role in the film. Yesterday, a video went viral wherein Salman spotted few vertically challenged men and he stopped his car to meet them, gave them food and asked them to promote Shah Rukh’s film. Directed by Aanad L Rai, 'Zero' also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. It releases on December 21.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for his next film Bharat, co-starring Katrina Kaif, Tabu and Disha Patani. The film is slated to release Eid 2019.
