Kirti kulhari all set to start shooting for Indu Sarkar
The actress is riding high on the success of her female-centric film Pink'.
Mumbai: If Falak Ali wooed you with her calm-yet-gutsy demeanour, wait until you watch ‘Pink’ tigress Kirti kulhari in Madhur Bhandarkar's film 'Indu Sarkar' based on India's 21-month state of Emergency. Kirti will be playing the role a girl with speech impediment.
The actress, who is back from Andaman holiday, is all set to begin filming for the film from December 10.
At the launch of ‘Wet’, a book by Tanveer Bookwala, Kulhari said, “Finally, something good is happening. I am doing Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Indu Sarkar'. We are going to start shooting from December 10…The film will be completed by end of January. And then, I will be announcing two more projects."
When asked for her reaction on the phenomenal success of ‘Pink’, she said, “'Pink' is the turning point in my career. It just changed everything for me overnight.”
Talking about her role, Kirti had earlier said, “Indu is raised in an orphanage and has a stammering problem but loves to write and read poetry. After 'Pink', I wanted to do something that would challenge me further as an actor. We want to create the same impact as Tabu's turn in 'Chandni Bar' with my character."
The film will also have ‘Johnny Gaddaar’ actor Neil Nitin Mukesh in a pivotal role.
