Farah Khan keen to get into the digital space
Farah is currently busy scripting her next big film which perhaps is a remake of Satte Pe Satta.
Filmmaker Farah Khan who is known for her larger-than-life films is now inclined towards the digital space. The Main Hoon Na director is keen to venture and explore the platform with innovative content.
Farah says, “I love the digital space and sometime later, I will make something for that platform. It is a great time for content makers. So, if you are a good actor and you haven’t got your due, then there is enough space on this platform.”
Meanwhile, Farah is currently busy scripting her next big film which perhaps is a remake of Satte Pe Satta. The choreographer-turned-director also feels irrespective of whatever change the industry may go through, the star system is here to stay.
She says, “What is happening is that the bad films of stars are not working but still, the star is drawing in the crowd. It is very hasty to say that the star system is fading though there is a new order coming in.”
She goes on to say that stars generate revenue despite the audience becoming choosy. “If a movie is not good, they are not accepting it. Even then, their films will make a certain amount of money like Aamir Khan’s film will still make 50 crore on the first day. So that is the star power,” she added.
