Mumbai: Clashes have become a frequent occurrence in Bollywood thanks to film producers' fascination for scheduling releases around festivals and other important holidays.

While makers of the most anticipated films of the year try to cash in on festivals and other important holidays by scheduling releases around that time, it seems even non-holidays releases are raking in the moolah.

After a non-holiday release ‘Baahubali: the Conclusion’ laughed all the way to the bank, it seems ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is also following in the footsteps.

Just like the Prabhas starrer, a ticket for the Shah Rukh Khan-Anushka Sharma romantic drama, directed by Imtiaz Ali, has been priced at a whopping Rs 2400 at Delhi’s PVR Director’s Cut, according to a report in mid-day.

Rs 2400 for a ticket turns out to be even costlier than a Mumbai-Goa air ticket.

It’s not that these exorbitant tickets prices are deterring the cinegoers, as tickets have already been booked and the theatre has already collecting Rs 12.15 lakh just from this one screen even before the film hits the theatres on Friday.

After the last big release, Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’, flopped at the box-office, it seems exhibitors are keen to cash in on the opportunity of another big release.
