Babita is nothing like me: Katrina Kaif

This December, we’re about to see Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in the much-anticipated film Zero. After having watched the recently-launched trailer, we find out more about Katrina’s role in the film.

Explaining how Babita, her character, is nothing like her in real life, Katrina says, “Her personality is not at all like me. Unlike Babita, I am well-behaved and quite sensitive.”

She adds, “This film has been a most unexpected journey for me. I was wondering whether Anand sir trusted me. The most important thing is that we’ve tried to do something different together. And as a performer, it has been a tremendous experience for me. Every day I would feel scared.”

While reports suggest that Babita is based on troubled Hollywood stars like Demi Moore and Lindsay Loha, Katrina explains that that’s not true. She says, “The only inspiration for the character came from Anand Sir, Himanshu, the writer, and myself. We created her. According to Anand sir, I already had in me all that was needed to for the role.”
