Alia Bhatt has been a force to reckon with in the film industry already. And slowly, it seems, Alia seems to be smartening up like her father Mahesh Bhatt, when it comes to talking to the point.

At a recent event, almost sounding like a trade pundit, Alia was heard saying, “I don’t like to bifurcate cinema in the categories of art and commercial cinema. I’m of the opinion that films only fall in two categories — good films or bad films. I like to participate in all types of films. I’ve even requested David Dhawan to cast me in Judwaa 3 the next time!”

She’s shared a rather warm camaraderie with Varun ever since their debut in Student of the Year. “I always keep pestering Varun that I need to be a part of Judwaa 3,” she laughs. “I have clearly shown my eagerness for performing in this film. It’s an amazing franchise and has done well even this time. Working in a comedy film and making the audiences is laugh for sure isn’t an easy task,” she says.

She’s dabbled in some serious movies, some romantic and even comedy ones. But Alia has stayed firmly away from horror movies. Quiz her on it and she says, “I get scared watching horror films! If All said and done, I hate entertaining people by scaring them. I feel there are many other genres via which audiences can be entertained. I don’t wish for the audiences to pay and get scared.”

The actress is currently preparing to work on Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, and she’s visibly thrilled to work with Ranveer Singh. “Yes, I’m looking forward to working in this film,” she smiles. “I’m also excited to be working with Ranveer. I’m currently waiting for the shoot to begin soon.”

She adds, “I’ve shot for a few advertisements with Ranveer before. He’s so full of energy on the sets. So much so that he starts behaving and talking like the character (even when the cameras are off) that he portrays on screen. I hope that while working with him on our next venture, I will get to witness his pagalpan more.”
