Akshay Kumar's PadMan to now release on January 25

Akshay took to his Twitter to announce that 'PadMan' will now release a day before its earlier intended Jan 26 release.

Mumbai: Akshay Kumar's 'PadMan' is one of the highly anticipated films of 2018. PadMan's trailer was released by the makers recently and in no time it created lots of excitement amongst the fans. And now, much to the delight of his fans, Akshay Kumar has decided to prepone the release date of his film.

Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter handle to announce the new release date for his upcoming socio-drama film. ‘PadMan’ will now release on January 25, as opposed to earlier intended January 26 release. This move will generate more hype around the movie as movie as January 26 is a national holiday and fans would be excited to go in theatres an evening prior to the day.

The movie is a biopic on Arunachalam , a small town entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu, who invented low-cost sanitary napkins to generate awareness in rural areas.

With 'PadMan', Twinkle Khanna has turned producer and the social drama is being directed by R Balki.

The movie also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in the lead and will also see Amitabh Bachchan in a special appearance.
