Tanuja Mukherjee loses cool
The veteran actress was present for a screening of the Konkona Sen Sharma directorial venture, A Death in the Gunj.
Tanuja seems to be extremely angry these days. Much more than her daughter Kajol tends to get with the media, when questioned about her estranged friend Karan Johar.
Now while Tanuja was not asked about Karan at this instance, she did end up losing her cool over a trivial matter.
The veteran actress was present for a screening of the Konkona Sen Sharma directorial venture, A Death in the Gunj. Tanuja plays a principal character in the movie. The actress was accompanied by her daughter Tanishaa as well.
As Tanuja alighted from the car, she seemed to be in a foul mood. When asked why there aren’t too many female filmmakers in India, like in the West or Europe, Tanuja snapped back. “How will I know why there aren’t many women filmmakers? You should know. You tell me, do you know why there are not many women filmmakers?” she asked.
As the media interactions for the movie are set to intensify, we wonder if Tanuja will have more cause to be upset.
