Looking for something radical: Ayushmann Khurrana
The actor will next be seen in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Bala and Dream Girl.
Ayushmann Khurrana, who is currently basking in the glory of his latest release, Article 15, has a great line-up of films. The Vicky Donor actor is already a flag bearer of experimental cinema in Bollywood and is now looking out for out-of-the-box roles in the digital space.
He says, “There has been a lot of offers but I am looking for something that’s crazy and radical because, in digital, you can be creative. You can have that lenient approach and touch different subjects. So I don’t want to pick anything just to explore this platform. It has to be really interesting.”
Meanwhile, Ayushmann is happy to be living his dream and says, “I have been a fan of Indian cinema since childhood. It gives you a different high and when I watch my films with the audience, it makes me happy.” While his choice of films is the talk of the town, he is happy to see the audiences’ response. He says, “For everyone, cinema is different so for me, I feel it’s a personal choice. I am glad that people are validating the choices I made. Unlike earlier, there is a larger audience now and the credit goes to the evolving viewers.”
