Comicstaan, a Prime Original Series, is a comedy talent hunt where we are looking for India’s next big comedian.

Your expectations from it?
I hope viewers enjoy the show — I hope they realise how much work and effort the contestants put into learning the skills they learned and writing the sets in the short time that they had which was absolutely incredible.

What can the fans expect?
Fun. Lots of laughter. There were seven judges and while our focus was on finding the next big comedian, we also had a blast amongst each other.

What is the funniest line in the show for you?

Mohanraj!

Who are your favourite comedians and why?
Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler because they are improv greats and I have learned a lot from them.
