After the release of Bharat, director Ali Abbas Zafar has his hands full. The director, who was rumoured to have had a fallout with Salman Khan before the release of the film, seems to be working on the third part of the Tiger series.
“The story that started with Ek Tha Tiger and then continued with Tiger Zinda Hai should not stop there,” remarked the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Global Tiger Day and now we are being told that the tiger will continue to roar.
And a while ago, Ali had even mentioned about having sent an idea for the third part to Salman, which the latter had approved.
“Barring that, Ali is starting work on a web-series called Tandav that has the web-series superstar Saif Ali Khan heading the cast. Ali will be directing the initial episodes and the closing one in the show which is going to be based out of New Delhi as it is a political thriller set to start streaming late next year. He is also producing a film starring Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Pandey in lead roles,” says a source.
Ali has an impressive record of hits under his belt, from Mere Brother Ki Dulhan to Gunday, Sultan, Tiger Zinda Hai and Bharat to his credit.
