Deepika Padukone gets slammed by Editor Lenin
Editor B. Lenin had some complaints not only regarding Deepika Padukone, but also Amala Paul for her sensual role in 'Thiruttu Payale 2'.
Mumbai: National-award winning editor Lenin was the guest at an event that was organised to support Deepika Padukone-Shahid Kapoor-Ranveer Singh starrer 'Padmavati'. There she publicly shamed actor Amala Paul for her sensual role in 'Thiruttu Payale 2', and didn’t even spare actress Deepika Padukone, who is playing 'Padmavati' on-screen.
Amala was stirred in a controversy because she wore a saree that showed her navel. To this, the actress had responded that she never thought her navel would become a talking point.
Giving a reply to the actress, Lenin said, “She’s speaking about the navel. With CG, we can go even further inside and show everything. Chee.”
Then targeting Deepika, he added, “Padukone’s father has asked her to get out himself.”
The editor feels that the actors are not dignified in what they do, and it barely took time for this video to go viral.
