Looking beyond acting

Sidharth Malhotra’s last commercial film Marjaavaan did a decent business at the box office. The actor is now gearing to kickstart the promotions of his next big film based on Param Vir Chakra awardee Vikram Batra.

Meanwhile, Sid, who is also willing to set up his own production house, says it’s a learning phase for him. “With each and every film, you learn, and the experiences help you to grow as a person. I pick and learn new things from each and every film of mine. I hope to get a script that will require me to be more than an actor,” he muses, adding, “I think Vikram Batra could have been that film, but this film definitely needs a more experienced person. It takes a lot of energy to set up an office and production house. So maybe in the future,” he concludes.
