Tapsee Pannu talks Mission Mangal
The actress opens up about her newfound friendship with Vidya Balan, and Akshay Kumar's influence on her career.
Taapsee Pannu is on a roll. The talented actress who will now be seen in Game Over will also be seen in multi-starrer Mission Mangal. Based on 2013’s Mangalyan Mission space programme, the film will release in August.
Speaking about the film she says, “Mission Mangal got made really quick, and for me the high point is that it all really happened. Also sharing screen space with all these women is like a dream.”
Alongside Taapsee, Mission Mangal stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menon, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi.
The Pink actress, who is now close friends with Vidya after working with her on the film, says, “Vidya is damn cool, and I had a gala time working with her. I want to work with her again, and I keep telling her that because I really enjoy her company on sets.”
Meanwhile, Taapsee is also seemingly following in Akshay Kumar’s footsteps by doing four films a year. Talking about his influence on her, Taapsee says, “I have these kind of conversations with Akshay, that even I have four releases this year. But if I reach even half the place where he has, I think I will retire after that. He has done so many things that it’s commendable.”
