Tabu gushes about friend Ajay Devgn

Tabu was last seen sharing screen space with her close friend Ajay Devgn in Golmaal Again. But it won’t be long till they act alongside each other once more. The duo will be working together in Luv Ranjan’s next.

The actress, who is choosy about her work, can’t stop gushing about her co-star Ajay. “I am always thrilled to be working with him. It’s like home — you don’t have any pressure to be someone else because of such a long association and deep friendship. He is a friend of my brother and even knows my family really well,” Tabu said.

The untitled project is said to be a romantic comedy with a fresh and quirky take on urban relationships. Tabu elaborates, “It is a light-hearted project. It’s a little too early to reveal much about my character. We will start shooting from February this year.”

Meanwhile, the actress will also be seen in a special appearance in the untitled Sanjay Dutt biopic. Talking about her cameo, she said, “I play myself in it, so it’s just one scene,” adding that the part is interesting. “You will know why that is so when you will watch the film.”

The actress also reveals that she knows Sanjay because of her elder sister Farah. “I have known him as my sister’s co-star. I was really young when my sister was doing films with him and I think they made a fantastic pair. He was very fond of my sister, so they were great pals.”
