CFDA Awards: Priyanka Chopra ups her fashion game as she hobnobs with celebs

Mumbai: Despite not being in India, Priyanka Chopra has been always been in the news, most of the times for the right reasons, but, sometimes, also for the wrong ones.

Priyanka’s debut Hollywood film ‘Baywatch’ and her trip to Berlin, Germany have kept her in the news for mixed reasons.

While the Dwayne Johnson starrer was panned by the critics and failed to live up to the expectations at the box office, the actress' performance was lauded.

Similarly, while on one hand, she gave a fitting reply to the people questioning her short dress while meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Berlin, she also had to back down and delete the selfies she clicked at the Holocaust Memorial after being slammed for it.

Priyanka is definitely not among those who would be disheartened by the negativity around her, and was at her fashionable best at the CFDA Awards held in New York on Tuesday.

Priyanka stunned in a sequined black dress, displaying her swagger with sunglasses on, posing with the designer Michael Kors.

Like she has done at various events previously, the actress also twirled her dress around in a boomerang video.

She also posed for pictures along with the actor couple Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers.

On the professional front, Priyanka is set to star in another Hollywood film opposite ‘The Big Bang Theory’ star Jim Parsons, though the actress is yet to talk about it.
