Superstar Salman Khan has always believed in merging action with emotion, which has worked for him in the past. While in his latest film Race 3 he has taken the action quotient a notch higher, the actor asserts that the sequences look realistic.

Talking about how he infuses an element of realism to his action scenes, Salman Khan says, “When I fight, it is believable. I make sure the fight looks believable. I may not do all the high kicks anymore but then, it’s convincing, it’s believable. So if the audiences believe that one can do this action then that works. Action works if it’s linked to romance or some emotion.”

The Wanted actor has also decided to slash the marketing budget of Race 3 by two crores. He wishes to put the money to good use by investing it in a social cause. “We are not promoting Race 3 like other films. We have cut down the budget by two crores. That was the budget that was sanctioned. We have cut down promotions and have put that money to good use. It’s going towards charitable work,” the 52-year-old said.

The actor is also upfront about his dislike of promotional activities. He says, “I have never enjoyed promotions. It’s very evident on my face and even the fans can make out I am disinterested. For me, promotions just let the audience know when the film is releasing.”

Race 3 also stars Saqib Saleem, Anil Kapoor, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol alongside Salman and Jacqueline. The movie is not a sequel but a reboot of the franchise with a fresh story and cast. The film is slated to release on Eid.
