Ever since the unique teaser of 'Gold' released, the movie has been in news almost always.

The trailer of this film also received a good response, but it wasn't unveiled with the media in presence.

That however happened at an event on Friday, since Akshay Kumar, Reema Kagti, Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vinit Singh and Sunny Kaushal unveiled the romantic song 'Naino Ne Baandhi'.

Here's the song featuring Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy in a sweet, innocent-type romance:

At the launch, Akshay was so spontaneous that he danced like never before. Climbing on a table, he pulled his co-actor Mouni Roy.

In fact the actor had full energy even while giving answers. He took a sarcastic jibe at clash with John Abraham (‘Satyameva Jayate’) and the industry as a whole (after a point even to the media).

Akshay was asked about movies being made on sports other than cricket, take even ‘Soorma’ for example. On that, he said, "People should know more about other sports like hockey, kabaddi, football rather than cricket. The audience should know more about Hockey, and it should be encouraged. People should know what happened in 1948... How we won the first Olympic gold medal in hockey after the independence of India. I think things also have changed because the government is supporting the sport a lot, the number of medals are increasing in the game, so I am happy seeing the encouragement."

"I hope after this film, hockey gets the respect that it commands. It is an important game that gave our country the first ever gold medal after independence. So I hope things change after our film," he added.

Shedding light on his dialect, Akshay said, "I worked closely with our dialect coach. I have stayed in Kolkata for two years which actually helped me to play the character, its body language etc. I tried to speak with a Bengali accent... (but) I tried not to make it a caricature."

To sum it up, Akshay seems to have made up for not unveiling the trailer with the media, but launching his song in the grand ‘Gold’ celebrations.
