Amitabh Bachchan flies to India to be with the Nandas
Big B flew into Delhi for a few hours on Monday before flying back to Bulgaria. The shooting of Brahmastra carried on without him for a day.
The tragic passing away of Delhi-based entrepreneur Rajan Nanda has left many saddened. Given that Mr Nanda was the father-in-law of Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta, it comes as no surprise that all the Bachchans were with the bereaved family in their time of need.
While Jaya was already in Delhi for a parliamentary session, Abhishek and Aishwarya flew in from Mumbai, and the Bachchan family patriarch flew in all the way from Bulgaria.
A source close to the Bachchans reveals, “Amit ji was advised not to fly back. He was told that it would be okay for him to pay his respects upon his return from the current schedule of Ayan Mukerjee’s Brahmastra. But he insisted on returning immediately to pay his final respects to a man who was not only kin but also a dear friend.”
