Rajinikanth wraps Darbar

Rajinikanth bade Mumbai goodbye after wrapping up the shoot of his film Darbar. The A.R. Murugadoss directed film has been in the news ever since it was announced. The buzz in Bollywood itself increased after the actor started shooting at Mumbai’s Film City for the film.

The Thalaivar, who had last donned the khaki uniform in the Tamil film Pandian, is wearing it again after two and a half decades for this film, making it something for his fans to get excited about.

Earlier billed as Rajini #167, the paparazzi also got some pictures from the shoot recently when Rajini was filming his last shot.

“It was a mad rush as everyone wanted to see Rajini including actors from nearby shoots. But there was enough security and Rajini was ushered out of the location rather easily,” says an eyewitness. Meanwhile, the production house behind the film, Lyca Productions shared a picture of director AR Murugadoss with Rajinikanth as they wrapped the shoot of the film. They wrote, “Aanndd it’s a wrap for our #Thalaivar in #DARBAR get ready for #DarbarPongal”.

Darbar has Nayanthara cast opposite Rajini and Prateik Babbar has an important role in the film as well.
